I am a former personal injury lawyer having spent my career working in plaintiff personal injury law firms, including roles with specialist firms Carter Capner, Trilby Misso, Slater + Gordon and Shine Lawyers.

I have also established and operated my own law firm, which provided a direct understanding of the commercial realities of running a file portfolio — including workflow, resourcing, and the impact of unresolved matters on clients, teams, and the business as a whole.

Across these environments, I was consistently drawn to the matters that didn’t follow a clear path — where liability was uncertain, causation was contested, or the case had stalled.

 

Over time, that became a focus.

Not in running a high volume of files, but in working through the ones that required deeper analysis — identifying the issue that ultimately determined outcome.

 

That experience shapes the way I now work.

Independently, with the time and space to examine a matter properly — and with a focus on restoring a clear path to resolution where it has been lost.
